No,  not Charles Lindberg...but our own Marty Folan telling his wife, Joan, that the Cub was the first aircraft he solo'd.
(far table)  Gene Westerman, Diane Biehl, Paul Wauchope, Janet Wauchope and Lois Westerman.  (foreground table) Marv McIntyre,  Joan McIntyre, Nancy Hansen and Ray "Dutch" Hansen.

General Harold Keistler, Deputy Adjutant General,  Illinois National Guard and Commanding General for AIR,  Illinois National Guard, together with General Richard Drury, who first learned practical airmanship with our 126th Bomb Wing.

General Keistler brought our guardsmen up-to-date with what is happening to our Illinois Air Guard and plans for the future of the Guard.  General Drury urged air guardsmen to continue their interest in the Guard and its future.

The main entrance to the Bridgewood Resort Hotel was almost as inviting as the fishing hole and the 3rd hole on the Bridgewood golf course!
